Happy Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday!

Another Segment in which we will answer questions directly from clients of ours, in order to "shed some light" on matters which may be unclear to those who are in the beginning phases of creating a tented paradise.

Dear Exclusive Tents,

We will use all LED lights in the rooms and facility. Do you have any good examples showing how other clients have installed lights in the ceiling or upper reaches of their tents?

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your valued inquiry. I do see that you have questions geared towards the lighting fixtures and process involved when you are considering establishing your own tented structure. So below I have provided some helpful tips to effectively mount lighting fixtures to the interior of the tents.

Lighting the interior of the tents can be tricky and must be done strategically. Generally most clients run wiring through the tent's framing (steel poles), and run it to the apex of the frame and then down through the body where you would then be able to mount lighting (recessed lights works great). LED lighting seems to be a perfect match when done properly for the inside of the tent and definitely touches home with the overall ambiance. This can be done well by running LED ribbon lighting between the canvas roof and the inner liner along where they meet the tent walls. ANOTHER idea that goes hand in hand with the ribbon lighting is to actually mount recessed lights on the floor in corners. The recessed lighting should be pointed strategically with the most desired locations hidden behind furniture, with the lighting pointed towards the wall to help accentuate the flow of the canvas.

These tips should help you bring proper lighting to the interior of your tent in a way that adds to the "living under canvas" feel instead of the more conventional methods.
